Cesar Chavez Academy High School has been identified as one of the City of Detoit's top performing high schools based on ACT and Michigan Merit Exam (MME) test scores for the past 6 years (2008 - 2013). "We appreciate organizations like the Mackinac Center for Public Policy and the American Research Institute for recognizing our efforts", said school leader Juan Jose Martinez. In 2012 and 2013, U.S. News & World Report recognized CCAHS with a BRONZE rating for being one of the nation's best high schools. The CCAHS graduation rate currently stands at 85%.

CCAHS Michigan Merit Exam (MME) and ACT math test scores have been higher than all other Detroit area charter high schools for the past 5 years. Online Learning Opportunities
Cesar Chavez Academy High School offers students multiple opportunities to earn high school credit towards graduation and "Odyssey" is one of the options available to students.
Odyssey classes are offered throughout the school year and take place during the regular school day. Odyssey classes are facilitated by certified teachers in a small learning environment consisting of no more than twenty (20) students per class period.
