Our Story
César Chávez Academy began its journey in 1995 as a single, elementary school educating students in grades K-5 with enrollment of approximately 200 students. Since then, CCA has expanded its campuses to five locations: the Lower Elementary (K-2), the Upper Elementary (3-5), East, the Middle School (6-8), and the High School (9-12).
The academy is over 90% Hispanic, 94% free and reduced lunch, and 74% of its students are English language learners. The district leadership, staff, with committed support from The Leona Group, LLC, Saginaw Valley State University, community members and stakeholders, have also contributed to the success of the CCA district. |
