2021-2022 Orientation Modules
In an effort to make the Fall return to school easier and safer for our students, staff, and community, we are asking all students to complete the mandatory virtual orientation. To access and view your Fall schedule, you must complete the Orientation modules first. Orientation should be completed by Sept. 1, 2021.
To access this virtual orientation follow the next steps:
1. Visit your Class Google Classroom using your chavezwaterman.com account.
2. Under the "Classwork", you should see the title "1. Orientation 21-22"
3. Go over the Google Slides and answer the questions after to check your understanding.

DRESS-CODE POLICY UPDATE
An appropriate mask will be required at all times inside enclosed spaces (in classrooms, hallways, bathrooms). Mask must cover mouth and nose at all times, except during eating or drinking. ​
CCA DISTRICT ENCOURAGES COVID-19 VACCINES
The district works closely with CHASS Clinic and the City of Detroit to make vaccination easier to all of our students, parents, and families.
NOTE: Vaccines are not required but that they are very strongly encouraged.​​

HEALTH SCREENERS
Health Screeners will be required to be completed every day, prior to arriving at school. Students should stay home if they feel sick.

TEMPERATURE READINGS
Temperature readings will be conducted daily. A student with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be sent home.​​​

In an effort to make the Fall return to school easier, we have digitized all our Student Orientation Forms. You can complete all the forms below. If you prefer a paper and pencil version, you are more than welcome to stop by the main office Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
